The “Third Romanian Itinerant Seminar on Mathematical Analysis and its Applications” will take place at Alba Iulia, September 10-12, 2021.

Its aim is to bring together Romanian researchers (from Romania and from abroad) working on subjects in these areas or other related subjects. Foreign participants are also welcome (in this case English will be the language of the corresponding sessions). The third edition of RISMAA continues and develops the ideas that was launched by Prof Gheorghe Morosanu during the first edition in Cluj-Napoca, on April 20-21, that  “it must provide a constant forum for researchers in Romania, where they can gather to form strong large groups which can facilitate a fast interchange of ideas. Although there are nowadays excellent means of communication, face-to-face conversations cannot be replaced by anything else, so periodic meetings are strongly needed. This is the role of the RISMAA.”

Thus, the conference is designed to maximize the involvement of all participants and will present the state-of-the-art research and the latest achievements.

Main topics is intended to cover the same areas as the previous editions, namely:
  • Calculus of Variations
  • Evolution Equations
  • Functional Analysis
  • Geometric Analysis
  • Integral Equations
  • Numerical Analysis
  • Operator Theory
  • Optimal Control
  • Ordinary Differential Equations
  • Partial Differential Equations
  • Optimization Theory
  • Set-valued Analysis

together with various applications in Biology, Chemistry, Ecology, Economics, Mechanics, Medicine, Physics, etc.
